Orthodox Churches commonly do sound
ZVON BELLS. Ringing of these bells is done by hand with ropes attached to the
clapper.
The bells are rung as a percussion instrument with which the tone of the bells
is variable.
Of course the most beautiful sound can be had with musical tuned bells to ring
in harmony.
